In the charming market town of Sourdeval, The Courtyard Garden has been thoughtfully arranged so that every guest — whatever their needs — can relax, explore, and enjoy Normandy at their own pace. There’s no need to bring equipment; everything is here waiting for you. Bars, cafés, shops, restaurants and a well-stocked pharmacy are all within easy walking distance, and a traditional Tuesday market brings local produce right to your doorstep.

Getting here is refreshingly simple — just one hour forty-five minutes from the port of Caen, or a gentle four-to-five hour drive from Calais through the toll roads. No flights, no worry about wheelchairs or adaptations in transit.

Accessibility features:

  • Step-free access on the ground floor, high-fibre WiFi included.
  • Double electric bed with ceiling track hoist — side-to-side transfer space on both sides
  • WC with drop-down handrails on both sides, optional raised loo seat and commode chair (for use over WC and in the shower).
  • Wheelchair-accessible sink and hob, oven at wheelchair height, full appliances including dishwasher and air fryer.
  • Lounge with double sofa bed, large TV with Netflix and streaming platforms.
  • Master suite with tea/coffee facilities and small fridge.
  • Separate single bedroom decorated in soft hues for neurodiverse guests, with games console and family games.
